2X Grammy Nominated Ernie Lake

Ernie Lake received his first Grammy Nomination for Remixer of the Year. The nomination came as a result of the work done on the following tracks: The Backstreet Boys' "All I Have to Give," Faith Evans' "All Night Long," Cyndi Lauper's "Disco Inferno," Jordan Knight's "I Can Never Take The Place of Your Man," Blondie's "Maria," and Britney Spears' "Sometimes." His second Grammy nomination (Best Dance Recording) was for his production on Cyndi Lauper's remake of the disco classic "Disco Inferno" from the Night At The Roxbury soundtrack on Dreamworks.

In 2005, Ernie Lake launched his own compilation-based record label, EL Records/EL Media Group. Curating playlists and creating music for Thompson Hotels, Tao, Nobu, and Hard Rock, to name a few, the label released the very first Hamptons compilation, From the Hamptons to Ibiza, written and produced by Ernie Lake himself, and the follow-up album, entitled Isola D'Amore. Ernie Lake created the first music streaming service for retail and hospitality, curating music playlists for some of the biggest hotels and restaurants in the world. EL Media was sold to Touchtunes/PlayNetwork in 2017.

Ernie Lake's signature Rhythm Radio Friendly Records have received accolades from both radio programmers and the underground community. That recognition sparked a string of remix requests from Pink, Shania Twain, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, Usher, and many more. Ernie Lake has also lent his writing and production skills to movie soundtracks, such as Superstar, Stuart Little, A Night At The Roxbury, and Southpark. His most recent 2021 remix of “Willow (90’s Trend Remix)” took Taylor Swift's album back to number one on the Billboard album charts.

Immersive Mixing

Immersive Mixing

Immersive music mixing involves creating a multi-dimensional audio environment where sounds can be placed and move around the listener in a spherical sound field.

This technique uses advanced audio formats like Dolby Atmos or Sony 360 Reality Audio, allowing for object-based audio where each sound element can be positioned independently in space. The result is a more engaging and lifelike listening experience, simulating the sensation of being inside the music or at a live concert.
