Is my audio sent anywhere?

No. The analysis runs in your browser, on your computer, and the file never leaves it. With an account we keep only the results: file name, duration, BPM, key, loudness, true peak, energy and the waveform drawing.

Do I need an account?

Not for the first analysis. With a free account you analyse as many tracks as you like and keep your last 10. Building a set also needs an account.

How accurate are the key and the BPM?

They are estimates and the tool is in beta, so they can be wrong: when there's doubt we show the most likely alternative and let you check the key by ear. Loudness and true peak are measured following the ITU-R BS.1770 standard.
