A classic step sequencer, up to 64 steps
CLASSIC gives you the step grid you know: pitch, accent, slide, octave up and down, and tie. Paint across a row, record steps from a MIDI keyboard, and shift or alter a pattern in one click.

Draw lines in a piano roll
PATTERN shows the same line as a piano roll with a scale lock, so every note you draw fits the key. FIT TO SCALE moves an existing line into a new scale.

Turn audio into a pattern
WAVE listens to a bass line you load, finds its notes, accents and slides, and writes them into a pattern you can edit. You can also play the audio itself as the oscillator.

New ideas with RANDOM
Pick a scale and a root, set how busy the line should be, and generate. Every idea comes from a seed, so you can step back to one you liked.

The sound
Saw and square mixed with pulse width, a resonant filter with envelope and decay, an accent that pushes level and filter, three VCO models, distortion and a final clip stage.

Fits your session
Follows your DAW's tempo and transport or runs on its own clock. Sends its notes out as MIDI, exports patterns as MIDI files, and maps any control with MIDI Learn. 128 pattern slots can be switched from MIDI notes.

ACYN is an acid bass synthesizer with a built-in sequencer of up to 64 steps. Five views (Classic, Pattern, Wave, Random, Setup), saw and square oscillators with pulse width, a resonant filter with accent and slide, audio-to-pattern analysis, and your own audio as the oscillator. 112 factory presets. VST3, AU and Standalone for macOS, VST3 and Standalone for Windows.
